Visiting Family and Friends

This past Memorial Weekend was very busy, especially for me it seemed. Sunday, I decided to stay home from church to get dressed to visit a few relatives. I knew if I went to church with the boys, that I would be too tired to visit anyone. Mother, my two sons, and I visited three of my father's sisters who lived about thirty miles from here, estimated. We all had a great visit.

Monday, the boys and I went to a friend's house for a cookout. Her family and a few friends were there. There were plenty of food, and fun stuff for the kids. Everything went alright and I had a good time

My multiple sclerosis has been fairly stable, so I did not use my walker for the short steps inside the homes, used Mother if I needed extra help walking. My legs get tight, stiff, painful, and tingling/numb. The boys were rowdy, and I felt my multiple sclerosis shoot pain down my back, down my legs, and in my fingers. I tense and it, the ms acts up just like my boys. It is difficult getting comfortable in a seat, I twist and turn so much trying to find some relief!

They simply don't understand how sick I am and the multiple sclerosis takes so much from me each day of my life. Just as soon as I think I am getting a break, multiple sclerosis will shine a symptom to remind me that it isn't going anywhere.
